Ohayu Gozaimasu (good morning) from Japan! I have been making my way around this country for about a week now and am enjoying every minute of it. We first started in Osaka, then making our way to Kyoto, and we’re finally in the Shinjuku district of Tokyo. I’m not gonna lie, we have been eating our way through Japan. The food here has been nothing short of amazing and everything looks so pretty and delicious! I was prepared to pack on a few pounds, but we have been walking so much every single day that we’ve been working off everything we’re eating (yay!).
This post captures our time at the beautiful bamboo forest in Arashiyama, which is located on the outskirts of Kyoto. I had to sneak in to take these photos (the outer perimeter is actually barricaded), but it was well worth it. =) Though we didn’t take up on the opportunity, visitors can also enjoy the beauty of the bamboo forest by riding in a rickshaw.
Thank you for stopping by, we’re off to explore Shibuya! Kajuaru Sayonara!
